Chrysler has announced a withdrawl from the UK market, with two-year termination notices issued to its UK dealer network.

March 31, 2015

In a statement, Chrysler said the latest possible date that the brand will be operating in the UK would be March 15, 2017.
A Chrysler spokesperson told Telegraph Cars: “In accordance with UK consumer demand and our customer expectation, we’ve taken the decision to shift our resources to other Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) products.”
The exit has been widely anticipated following falling sales, registrations last year dropped 21% to 1,982 units giving the brand a market share of just 0.08%.
Chrysler’s product line-up, which includes the Ypsilon supermini, Delta family hatchback, 300C large saloon and Grand Voyager MPV, have struggled in the UK market and are not believed to be well suited to increasingly stringent emissions regulation.
